On the 22nd, my friends and I went to organize a full-scale university event called "Bunkasai", the Japanese Cultural Festival 2011 at DC. Our so called "geng ketat" circle rocked the venue with our antics, like...literally! Geng Ketat is just awesome as always. Love everyone.
So! Let's start with the chronicles. The road to JCF '11 itself. Say, actually things were planned, re-planned, and yeah, re-planned AGAIN, since effing THREE semesters prior and the one thing that lagged us behind is approval from HEP. Bureaucracy basically hates us. I hate you too, bureaucracy!
So after some interventions from the higher ups, only then, we would be able to organize such event. Bayangkan! Daripada aku lom pergi Jepun, sampai dah lepas interview pergi Jepun, pergi Jepun, balik Jepun, baruuuuuuuuuulah dapat lepas event nih. Tak macam siot?
The fact that we had an approval actually means the WORLD to us.
Dipendekkan cerita...we tried our hardest for this event, basically. Azunyan, Hiru and Johnjohn banyak turun naik office nak menyetelkan hal venue, Mai yang walaupun praktikal kat audit firm kat KJ siang hari sanggup balik Shah Alam jamming malam2, Halu-kun yang kaki injured futsal pun endlessly praktis and ajar aku yang buta kayu ni all of those musical jargons, Olan yang berjaga tengah malam buat macam-macam, in fact, dia officer first sampai venue hari tu utk supervise everything. Ijatt yang baru kehilangan datuk pun brace up utk prepare for this event...
Seriously guys, you are ze best! Kadang2 aku rasa bersalah time aku relaks, sebab aku tahu korang sumer tgh bertungkus lumus.
We had our sleepless nights, painful days, tasking moments...all to work these things out. Seronoknya JCC ni, mereka tak pernah merungut, walaupun terpaksa amek n hantar aku yang tiada berkenderaan ni tengah-tengah malam lepas jamming, walaupun kami kdg2 stay up kat Pak Li atau Kayu sampai pukul 4 pagi untuk meeting.
