Perlukah saya buat entry Raya?

Assalamualaikum.

Hm.

I'm writing on 27th Ramadhan 1432H, amidst amazing brouhaha nak raya-raya ni.

This year my schedule went back to normal after huuuuuuge change last year i.e. beraya di perantauan. Surprisingly, I think I love raya di perantauan more actually-- the ambience didn't subconsciously persuades you into rabid shopping mode, so it equals to less unnecessary money spent. Other than that, the day just went like any other day; it's like a much needed break  for me to get away from people who dress like drag queens (sometimes) visiting people's house, so it equals to me escaping the whole idea of overdressing and the sin of "mengumpat-ing" those over-dressers. 

Of course, I had to let go the celebration-with-family thing but I had the opportunity to celebrate raya for 20 years with Mom and Dad and Ol'er Bro and Lil Sis already! So the once in blue moon chance shouldn't be left slipping away!

I'm just saying that it's a great chance to experience changes, not that I really despise Malaysian style of overzealous effort in exaggerating Raya celebration..

Aku ada kata aku tak suka ka? Okeh, ada lah sikit, just in form of sarcasm je pun. :P

So yeah. Raya di perantauan amatlah homai seronot ya rakan-rakan.

So tahun ni, aku beraya kat Kuantan je. Tak balik kampung. Or bandar, as I should say.Time nenek aku ada dulu kitorang beraya kat Ampang okay, beberapa meter jauh dari Ampang Point. haha. So much of balik kampung. Tapi bila nenek aku meninggal 4 Ogos 2005, kitorang stop balik Ampang, dah tak de sapa pun kat rumah tu sekarang.

So yeah. Minus satu point kenapa aku rasa tulis entry raya bagi aku is unjustifiable. 

Selalu-selalu pun, asal malam tujuh likur, memang tradition family aku pasang pelita. Pelita okay, minyak tanah, sumbu pelita ayam... korang modernist-modernist ni kenal tak pelita tu apa?

Tak main la, sekali petik lap-lip-lap-lap. 

Tapi hari tu mak aku korek dapur belakang dia cari "tiki torch" tu, tak jumpa. Dah tak tau mana pulak kitorang misplaced.

So yeah. Another point deducted.

Tapi aku ended up tulis jugak kan, entry pasal Raya.

Haih. Melayu mudah lupa.

Miku cakap Selamat Hari Raya. Miku yang cakap, aku sampaikan je. :P
